JCFS Safer Synagogue

Congregation Hakafa is certified as a Safer Synagogue by Jewish Child and Family Services (www.jcfs.org). Our team has been trained on a multitude of topics that can adversely impact women, men, children and families, such as child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, and addiction. The Safer Synagogues team now has a greater understanding of the impact of abuse across the lifespan and improved access to support for congregants experiencing abusive situations.
