Hakafa's Home Cooking: Artists & Residents
Hakafa's Home Cooking: Artists & Residents
HAKAFA MEMBERS:
In order to keep this fabulous momentum going and continue to share our Hakafa talents each week, we need volunteers!
If you would be willing to share one of your favorite recipes with fellow congregants, please contact Rona Elder.
If you are an artist/musician/performer/photographer, etc. and you would be willing to share a brief video of your work, please contact Norm Winer.
After months of confinement at home, we felt that Hakafa members and their families might need some uplifting diversions. We thought that almost everyone would welcome some inspiring, stimulating online entertainment, especially now, so we won't feel as isolated or lonely. We agreed that we certainly have enough resources and talent in our community to attract a multi-generational cross-section of Hakafa congregants.
Please enjoy Hakafa's new online program,
"Hakafa's Home Cooking: Artists & Residents."
Each episode is comprised of a remarkable demonstration of the culinary skill, resourcefulness, and charm of a gifted Hakafa member, as well as a delicious creation that our users/viewers can attempt to replicate in real time on their own. In addition, each episode includes artists -- musicians, painters, performers, sculptors, photographers and poets willing to create and share a brief video of their work.
We hope you enjoyed our last episode of "Hakafa's Home Cooking: Artists & Residents." Thank you, again, to The Glick Family for sharing their recipe for bagels. Thank you, also, to Joli Fridman for her photography exhibition.
This week, Nancy Goodman and two of her grandchildren share their recipe for shortbread!
