Robineau House Services
Robineau House Services
Each year, Hakafa members provide services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur afternoons and a Passover seder on the second night of Passover for the residents of Robineau House, a Council for Jewish Elderly (CJE) SeniorLife Residence in Skokie.
Please contact Hakafa member, Lynn Sanders, for more information or to volunteer.
Robineau Residence (7550 N. Kostner Avenue, Skokie) offers a wonderful home for 24 seniors who qualify for subsidized housing. Each resident has a fully furnished private bedroom and bathroom and is provided with two hot meals a day. The building was carefully designed to encourage and build a true community of senior adults. Each group of four private rooms opens into a shared suite that includes a full kitchen and living room area. This arrangement is creates an atmosphere of independence and sociability. Robineau is managed by dedicated CJE staff who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all the residents, 24 hours a day.
