Kesher "Night of Jewish Wines" Tasting
Wednesday, July 10, 2024 • 4 Tammuz 5784
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMLuna Rosa Wine ShopJoin us for a fun evening of nosh and conversation as we learn about Jewish vineyards from around the world! We will meet at the Sephardic-owned Luna Rosa Wine Shop in Highland Park, where its owner, Diana Effio, will teach us about the development of Jewish wine from the days of Magen David to the sophisticated, boutique industry it is today. This event is not to be missed!
Pre-registration is required by June 30. To register, contact Rabbi Elder.
Many Hakafa members have been living their congregation experience through their children. As their children move away, they are beginning to ask how to engage in our community for themselves. Kesher (Hebrew for “Connection”) allows members in this demography to get to know one another, share ideas, and create new and deep relationships. Though geared toward new, recent, or soon-to-be empty nesters, all Hakafa members are invited to join us.
