10:30 AM - 12:00 PMvia ZoomPlease join us via Zoom for Sunday Morning Adult Education when Rabbi Tamar Manasseh will be speaking on the week’s Torah portion, "B’shalach: Looking Up at Miracles Instead of Down at the Mud."
Rabbi Tamar Manasseh is the founder and president of Mothers Against Senseless Killings. MASK (Mothers/Men Against Senseless Killings) was established in 2015 as a way to put eyes on the streets, interrupt violence and crime, and teach children to grow up as friends rather than enemies. Born and raised in Chicago, she was ordained as a rabbi in 2021. She is the author of Chai-ME: My Exploration of Race, Religion and Spirituality in America and is the subject of the movie “They Ain’t Ready for Me.” Rabbi Manasseh currently lives in Bronzeville.
