Night at Ravinia!
Night at Ravinia!
Come to Ravinia with Hakafa for an evening picnic and concert!
Saturday, August 17, 2019
Ravinia Festival, Highland Park
While organized by Hakafa's Kadima members,
anyone from Hakafa (or family and friends) is welcome!
The program that night is Itzhak Perlman playing the
Bruch Violin Concerto #1 and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
- Lawn seats are $10 (only $8 for seniors!). Pavilion seats are $35 and $125. You will buy your own tickets, depending on where you want to sit.
- The concert is at 7:30 PM, but gates open to the public at 5:00 PM. This will be a very popular concert, and we suggest getting there early.
- We'll each bring our own drinks and dinner/snacks, and we'll eat together.
- During the concert, those sitting in the pavilion can go to their seats, and the rest of us will stay together on the lawn. The pavilion people can close up their stuff and leave it with the group.
- We’ll send more information about parking and/or transportation and where to meet inside the park when the time gets closer.
Betsy Hersher, Dave Millman, and Ellen Criz are coordinating this event.
