Shabbat Service - Guest Speaker: Wendy Singer
Friday, September 22, 2023 • 7 Tishrei 5784
7:30 PM - 9:00 PMRoom 101 at the Winnetka Community House (620 Lincoln Avenue) & via ZoomPlease join us for our Friday Evening Kabbalat Shabbat Services in-person OR via Zoom.
The Shabbat that falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is called Shabbat Shuvah (Shabbat of return) and typically concentrates on themes of return and repentance.
On this Shabbat we welcome Wendy Singer, Director of Programming at No Shame on U, as our guest speaker. As the high holidays are a time of renewal, she will talk about the idea of gratitude as a tool for resilience in mental health.
We hope you will join us!
If you are paricipating via Zoom, click here for a copy of our Friday Evening Siddur (prayer book). You should either print it out ahead of time or have it up on another screen during our service.
